Soybean Processing Plant Lab Technician
Bartlett is excited to be close to opening our soybean processing plant in Cherryvale, KS.
In the coming months, we will be hiring for the following positions Operator Lab Technician Maintenance Operations SupervisorFor these jobs we are seeking hands-on individuals who can work longer hours in challenging conditions.
Experience in a soybean processing plant, refinery, mill, or grain elevator would be helpful, but is not required.
We will be hosting an open house job fair at the Cherryvale Community Building on August 4th and 5th.
We will have information sessions starting at the times below.

Receiving and shipping grain, oil and other by products Transferring materials to other stations of the facility Monitoring temperature, flows and rate changes during the extraction process Preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and making repairs Collecting samples and running lab testsRequirements Education Most jobs will only require a high school diploma Some may require an Associate's or Bachelor's degree Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred Available to work off hours and weekends Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications) Physical requirements This job can be physically strenuous You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces You will work at heights You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders You will be required to wear PPEAll candidates shall be subject to background checks.
